This policy describes the types of information we may collect from you or that you may provide when you use our Compai Email Analyzer add-on (the "Add-on"), and our practices for collecting, using, maintaining, protecting, and disclosing that information.

Information We Collect and How We Use It

When you use our Add-on, we may collect certain information about you and your usage of the Add-on, such as:

• Your email address and name, which we use to identify your account and provide you with the Add-on functionality.
• The content of your emails, which we parse using the Gmail Search API to provide you with the Add-on functionality and improve our services.

We use the information we collect from you to:

• Provide you with the Add-on functionality and improve our services.
• Respond to your inquiries and requests.
• Analyze and improve the Add-on and our services.

SMS Communications and Consent Process

When our customers purchase digital gift cards to be delivered via SMS, we follow a two-step consent process to ensure recipients have explicitly agreed to receive messages:

• Initial Contact: When a gift card is purchased, we send an initial message to the recipient that identifies the sender and requests consent (e.g., "Hey [Recipient Name], [Sender Name] would like to send you a digital gift card. Please respond GIFTCARD if you'd like to receive the gift card via text message.").
• Consent Confirmation: We only deliver the actual gift card after receiving an affirmative response from the recipient.
• Opt-Out Information: All messages include clear instructions on how recipients can opt out of future messages.
• Record Keeping: We maintain records of all consent interactions to ensure compliance with telecommunications regulations.

Information Sharing

We may share certain information with third-party tools, such as AI models, for the purpose of analyzing dates and names from the content of your emails. This is done to enhance the functionality of the Add-on and provide you with more accurate and relevant information. Google Workspace APIs are not used to develop, improve, or train generalized AI and/or ML models.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information with third parties for their promotional purposes. The types of data shared with AI models and the purpose of such sharing are clearly outlined in this privacy policy.

Data Retention

We retain the information collected until a user requests that we delete it. This includes SMS consent records, which we maintain for compliance purposes.

Your Choices:

• You can choose not to provide us with certain information, but this may limit the functionality of the Add-on.
• By using the Add-on, you explicitly consent to the sharing of data, including dates and names, with third-party tools, as described in this privacy policy.
• Recipients of gift cards can decline to receive messages by not responding to our initial consent request or by replying STOP at any time.
• You can also request that we delete your data and remove the Add-on if you do not want to provide that information.

Security

We have implemented measures designed to secure your personal information from accidental loss and from unauthorized access, use, alteration, and disclosure. All web traffic is encrypted using SSL, and we require OAuth to ensure only authorized users get access to the Add-on. However, the Internet is not 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee the security of your personal information.

Limited Use Disclosure

The Compai Email Analyzer's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app will adhere to Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Changes to this Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time to reflect changes to our information practices. If we make any material changes, we will notify you by email or by posting a notice in the Add-on.
